On this note, we welcome you to the 49th Annual Scientific Conference and General meeting which is also the golden Jubillee anniversary of our noble society to be staged here in Lagos, the center of excellence - tagged "EKO - 2009".

The significance of this year's celebration cannot be over emphasized with the background that a milestone is always a memorable occasion in a lifetime and the 50th anniversary of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy is that talking point. It is time to celebrate the labours of our heroes past that will never be in vain.
